Wakeup Starlight was formed throughout late 2010 and Early 2011 by Caleb Cummings and Chris Noble, who have been working together for over 10 years in various projects. In 2011 Wakeup Starlight released their first album THE BREAKDOWN, and their first single “One Step Away” broke the Billboard Top 40 for all audiences at Christian Radio in both the USA and Canada, at the time they were the only “Indie” act in the top 40. The song went on to get a nod from ITUNES, making it an Itunes “Essential” track, and then won a 2011 GMA award for best “Pop/Contemporary song of the year”. Wakeup Starlight toured the USA during the Summer and Fall of 2011 with the help of phenomenal bass player Earl Shovan (Indianapolis IN).
Wakeup Starlight is currently working on their follow up to “THE BREAKDOWN” which promises to an album full of great songs.
