Cord of 3 is a Hard Rocking Christian Band, from Bowling Green, KY. The band consists of Randall Erskine (lead vocalist, rhythm guitar), Robbie Bennett (lead guitar), Brandon Bradshaw (bass guitar), and Tim Miller (drummer).
Cord of 3 released their debut album Broken but Undeniably Hopeful a little over a year ago, it spans from genres such as alternative metal, hard rock, and Christian Inspirational. The band’s name refers to a paraphrasing of a popular Bible verse in Ecclesiastes 4:12 (Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.)
Since the release of the band’s first album Broken but Undeniably Hopeful they have released two radio singles, “Broken but Undeniably Hopeful”, the title track, as well as a remixed version of their song “Breathe”. The band is happy to now be releasing their single “Mask”, and hope to reach a larger listening audience as they once again take to the road to share their music and message of hope with a broken world.
The band has shared the stage with many of today’s top Christian Rock groups including such acts as: Disciple, Seventh Day Slumber, Brian “Head” Welch, Sent By Ravens, The Letter Black, Inhale Exhale, Me in Motion, Satellites and Sirens, and Rotterdam November, and more. The lead singer is noted for wearing a traditional Scottish kilt and playing a brief assortment of songs on the bagpipes during the band’s live performances, due to his very proud Scottish heritage.
