Covenant31 came together by the call of God in 2008. A group of church worship leaders and musicians wanting to impact the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ with music and lyrics that declare The Word of God, the only way man can be saved.
“We are not ashamed of the Gospel which is the power of God to salvation!”
The truth is we are in a battle! A battle to love Jesus with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength. We live in a world with distractions that try to pull us away from knowing and trusting the True and Living God.
“This is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.” John 17:3.
“As the heart pants after the water brooks, so pants my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?” Psalms 42:1-2
We come as broken people who Christ pulled from the kingdom of darkness, into the awesome Kingdom of Light.
“For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:21
Patrick and Heather the main singers and song writers for Covenant31 were saved in 1994 after a very dark lifestyle. “We sang in bars, we were drinking and doing hard drugs, we lived an immoral life together. It was a life of complete and total depravity, leading us towards death and destruction.” “Heather became pregnant so we got married at 18, and little did we know that God would lead us to a Church that would love us, and a God that would forgive, restore, and call us into ministry. Today you would not know we were the same people, and again we are humbled to think that God would want to do something beautiful in us. He surely takes the fools and makes them His treasures! He takes bar singers, and gives them a passion for singing for Christ!”
We pray that Jesus would make himself known to you. We want you to taste and see that He is good. We want you to drink and never thirst again. It is our passion to beg God to show us His Glory! We want to do that together with you, worshiping the Creator of the Universe! He deserves this for all He has done! May our music and testimonies bring delight to God and a rest for your soul! May believers wake up to passion in Jesus Christ, and may unbelievers see the light that shines in us today. Today is the day of salvation! Jesus has saved the lost and the broken, which we are. We will tell of His goodness until Jesus returns!
