Sisy Mohorko-Rojas was born in December of 1983 in Fort Sil Oklahoma, along with her identical twin sister, Jessica Mohorko. In 1985 Sisy’s
father, Rev.Edgar Mohorko moved the family to Oxnard, CA where they would begin a life of ministry.
In 1986, at the age of 3, Sisy and her sister began singing in their father’s church where he was Senior Pastor. Since childhood, Sisy
served the community through outreach, youth rallies, homeless feedings, and mission’s trips to Mexico. She also was involved in her
father’s rehab home by ministering to drug addicts and alcoholics. At the age of 18, life took a drastic turn for Sisy. Her twin sister was
in a fatal car accident that killed her instantly. Enduring such a traumatic loss, Sisy still chose to continue serving God no matter the
circumstance. She continued singing and ministering to young people in efforts to mend broken hearts of families who have lost loved ones but
also reaching out to at risk youth to live a better life. She performed in countless community events including; festivals,
remembrance days, boxing events, karate tournaments and wrestling events. She participated in several organizations, one of those being
Police Activities League of Oxnard, and was awarded volunteer of the year. She also worked as a host on youth radio programs. She started
leading youth in her church at the age of 19 and at 23 she led a youth group of 50 teens; most of which were at risk teens of the community.
In 2009 Sisy came in to Social Outreach Service with the same heart for outreach and desire to help teens. Almost immediately she founded
HopeGirlz Outreach to focus on high-risk teen girls. Now she runs mentoring programs all over Oxnard and Port Hueneme and organizes youth events across Ventura County. Just recently she teamed up with Hardstep Records , getting back into the studio and dropping a new HOT Dance
track “I’M STANDING” (FIRST TIME SINGING TO THIS TYPE OF GENRE) Producer Greg Leonti’s hard banging track and her soulful POWER voice
