NEW MUSIC: Dawkins & Dawkins – “Pray For Me”

NEW MUSIC: Dawkins & Dawkins – “Pray For Me”

DAWKINS & DAWKINS’ modern approach of blending R&B and Gospel still captivates audiences. The duo brings back what fans and supporters have been missing – passionate, God-centered lyrics with amazing vocal arrangements and production.

The ‘Twittersphere’ has been buzzing since Eric & Anson’s return with positive praise for the album.

‘Y’all gotta get that new Dawkins & Dawkins album.  It’s Fire! – @RubenStuddard

‘Dawkins & Dawkins are a game-changing duo!’ – @RealMichelleW (Michelle Williams)

At the heart of Pray For Me is compassion; the kind of compassion that sees, loves, and prays for the fallen as Jesus did. All have sinned and fallen short of God’s glorious standard, but “throwing someone under the bus” when they fall is not a ministry; it’s a mess. The Lord delights in His people and crowns the humble with victory. Ps 149:4 If He delights in His people and we want to be Jesus people, then we must do the same. Don’t overlook my fault, but SEE ME, LOVE ME, PRAY FOR ME! ~ Dawkins & Dawkins

Working heavily with producer/songwriter Mike Mindingall, Ellen is poised to let her music speak for itself, “I write most of my songs for myself originally, It’s basically me talking to God. I’m just happy that other people enjoy it.” Her forthcoming album release, The Harvest, is a smooth mix of R&B, jazz and soul. Inspiring, soulful and uplifting are a few words that come to mind when describing Ellen Hayes and “The Harvest”.

As the music director at her home church, The Word of Truth Church, she has been singing all over the city. With her prolific songwriting skills her songs have the driving force of three different choirs at her home church. “I just try to please God with my music. I may be able to speak about a situation that someone is going through, but if God is not pleased with what I said then it was a wasted opportunity”. Her passion for Christ and her music ministry is second to none. Her music is a refreshing twist to what gospel music fans have been hearing for years. Her promotional CD, “Beats & Blessings, Volume 1” will give fans an taste of what they can look forward to with her album and is sure to be an instant classic with churchgoers. “Beats & Blessings”, Ellen covers previously recorded music from Alicia Keys, Music SoulChild and Kerry Hilson.

For Ellen Hayes, this album has been a long time coming. “We’ve been through a lot to get here. Sometimes it seemed like we would never get it done. But God did it!” While Ellen worked hard to get to this point, she is just getting started and has a lot she wants to show the world. Ellen has worked hard to set the table, now you can enjoy “The Harvest”.

NEW MUSIC: DEBORAH DENISE drops a new R & P joint called – “DEAD AND GONE”

NEW MUSIC: DEBORAH DENISE drops a new R & P joint called – “DEAD AND GONE”

Deborah Denise is a singer, songwriter, producer and vocal arranger. She was born in Jackson, MS and raised in Indiana. At the tender age of three she would come home from church and copy some of the notes on the piano and sing songs that she heard in church that day. By her sixth birthday she was playing childhood tunes by ear. “We had an organ in the living room, and I heard Silent Night on the radio,” she recalls. “I started playing it. And my aunt was like she’s playing Silent Night! My mother was so used to it, she was like, yeah, she is. And kept walking.”

Because Deborah Denise’s mother was a devout Christian she was groomed on the likes of Shirley Caesar, Rance Allen, Beau Williams, Commissioned and John P. Kee. Even though she professed Christ at an early age Deborah Denise also flirted with the world and wrote secular music. Over the years she has performed both gospel and secular music in a band, a quartet, a duo and as a solo artist. In the early nineties she was a pioneer in a form of gospel/R&B which is now what some call R&P or Rhythm and Praise.
