dJ presents his debut album “Enjoy The SONshine” a collection of 12 high energy, positive, Christ-centered hip hop songs with the aim of proclaiming the glory of God and describing a life that enjoys knowing Christ! The album opens with the first single “Psalm 24” featuring christian hip hop veteran Braille. This single is sonically stunning and exhilaratingly lyrical, as an anthem track for the new “generation of those who seek the God of Jacob” based on Psalm 24 in the Bible.

Next, the title track “Enjoy The Sonshine” describes the freedom to enjoy life, in Christ. It’s a high energy song crushing the myth that the Christian life is a boring one, and reaffirms instead that it is an awesome adventure.

Finally, “Put Some Clothes On” stands out as a sobering message to the young women (and men) of this generation calling them to live in purity for Christ, through this story-telling track. When main-stream hip hop & media is literally calling for young women to be naked and party wildly and promiscuously, this song exhorts young women to value purity in Christ and live in the Holy Spirit.

From his hometown near Medford, Oregon to Redding, Sacramento, and the Bay Area, California, d.J. has lived and experienced the small town and urban city life, and it is d.J.’s mission to “positively affect the culture of this generation for Jesus Christ, everywhere, especially through hip hop music”. Currently, this 21 year-old musician is an up in coming Christian hip hop artist and has performed with many great artists including: Flame, V. Rose, Braille, Everyday Process, Grits, and many others all over Northern California & Southern Oregon! d.J. is committed to studying the Word with his local Church where he is currently living in Medford,Oregon, sharing the gospel, and using the art of hip hop as a platform to share the gospel of Christ & teach through great music. d.J. will independently release his debut album “Enjoy The SONshine” on December 2nd, 2011 on iTunes & other major digital music stores.
