This is a song I wrote and sang to my husband, Colin, on our wedding day. We tend to trust God with everything else except matters of the heart. Once I moved myself out the way and learned to be happy with God alone, He was able to send His choice for me. I wrote this because God has entrusted me with Colin and it’s my public declaration of how I intent to care for him no matter what comes our way. Though this song isn’t as gospel as it is inspirational, I believe my home life with Colin is my first ministry. God has called many women to be wives who may not have an adequate example. Therefore I pray this can encourage someone
